Creating Affirming Classrooms for Transgender Students

This course from Arizona State University will prepare school staff, leadership and teachers to build an affirming atmosphere in their school systems for all genders. The Transgender Education Program focuses on the social, emotional and educational needs of transgender students. Students of this course will receive lessons on how to ensure transgender students are successful in their classes and schools in order to inform policies, practices and student lessons which will create a healthy and supportive learning environment.
