Master of Health Management

The Master of Health Management is designed to meet the needs of health managers today and sets the benchmark for health services management training. The program is offered in two streams using scenarios tailored to either the Australian healthcare system or developing health care systems. This program has been designed to provide students with the essential knowledge, skills and attributes required for senior managerial roles in health service delivery. A key focus of the program is promoting health leadership in areas of strategic planning, policy and decision-making. A strong emphasis is also placed on understanding and meeting he challenges of safety and quality within current and emerging health service contexts. The objective of the program is to develop judgment-ready practitioners who can impact on health service issues and systems.
