Master of Social Work

The Master of Social Work (MSW) online program will elevate your social work career by providing skills to find practical solutions to pressing issues within your community. The program’s concentration in Advanced Generalist studies focuses on effective and culturally competent service practices and strategies coupled with research evidence.

The online delivery of the MSW program provides a vibrant learning platform for engaging with our faculty who are experts in child welfare, health and behavioral health, community practice, administration, global social work, policy advocacy and innovative services for individuals, families, groups and communities. We also have expertise in gerontology, forensic social work, human trafficking, Borderlands issues, and several other areas. Our expertise and attention to cultural diversity and the distinct populations of the Southwest are unique.

Along with your courses, you will also participate in hands-on field education. A social work career provides many opportunities to make a difference for those in need – through direct service to individuals, families, groups, and communities; developing innovative public and nonprofit programs; and creating more just social and economic policies.
