Focus is placed on market forces, growth, and the survival of firms in competitive markets, and on the marketing strategy and tactics of the firm.

Students study the role of marketing in organizations and society and develop skills in market analysis, product and service development, pricing, advertising and promotion management, personal selling and sales management. They learn about the distinctive nature of marketing activities in consumer product, service, and business-to-business markets, and in the global economy. Marketing graduates have a wide range of employment opportunities. Many accept positions in the areas of professional sales or retail management.

The Bachelor of Science in management prepares students to become effective managers and team leaders by providing theoretical and conceptual knowledge and building critical skills. The curriculum includes the fundamentals of the global economy, the world of e-business, ethics, human resource and strategic management, and collaborative team skills.

The Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies online program will equip you with knowledge of the world’s justice systems and the skills needed to create meaning, real-world change through law, policy and social justice. As a student, you will focus on five core areas of study: citizenship, migration and human rights; globalization, sustainability and economic justice; law, policy and social change; media, technology and culture; and social identities and communities. Courses will explore a wide-variety of topics including racial justice, genocide, serial killers and the way that media, culture, environment, gender and ethnicity impact justice, and you will be equipped with the analytical, research, communication and problem-solving skills required to excel in today’s job market.

The online Bachelor of Science in Integrative Health provides a foundation in integrative health, a holistic approach to wellness that focuses on the mind, body, and spirit. The program is based on research and evidence-based subject matter, as well as ethical, legal, and cultural foundations of integrative health care.

Through this degree program, you will learn innovative and interprofessional approaches to serving and supporting diverse populations. You will learn to differentiate the ethics, legalities, and standards of practice of integrative health and to think critically about different therapies, modalities and practitioners. You will disseminate research findings and gain an understanding of the historical and cultural foundations of the integrative health field.

As a graduate of this program, you will be qualified for careers in many areas of the integrative health field. You may find positions assisting patients in obtaining services, understanding policies and making integrative health care decisions in settings like hospitals, doctors offices and holistic health centers. You will also be qualified to pursue graduate studies toward a career as an integrative health practitioner or in nursing.

The online Information Technology program focuses on web applications, developing skills to use the tools, languages and frameworks for designing and realizing complex websites. Throughout your course study, you will create a project solution every semester to help hone your team and presentation skills, as well as obtain a broad range of technical skills and gain the ability to create network architectures, configure and administer complex web-based database systems, create effective websites and design process interactive media solutions. In addition to selecting a primary focus area, (web, video games or security and administration) you'll be able to create your own secondary focus area that meets your specific career objectives.

Once you begin upper division courses, you will select six courses from one of the three available tracks: Computer and Network Systems: Security and Administration, which includes courses such as Internet Networking Protocol and Information System Security; Video Game Design and Construction, with courses in Computer Animation and Game Development; and Web Applications (Design and Construction), in which you can take classes in Web Site Design and Internet/Web Technologies, and Advanced Internet Programming.

The healthy lifestyles coaching focus combines exercise and wellness, nutrition, and health sciences to provide you with a solid background in preventative health care. As a student pursuing this major, you will take classes in fitness, nutrition, healthy eating, stress management, and the cultural and political aspects of health and healthcare. You will interact with faculty and professionals who have devoted their lives to teaching and promoting positive lifestyles. This program also emphasizes community integration through nonprofit and for-profit organizations, which provide opportunities for internships.

The multifaceted nature of the program will provide you with many skills translatable to almost any industry within the healthcare market. Rehabilitation, community outreach, and numerous other private institutions need skilled healthcare professionals, and the breadth of this major only increases your job opportunities. Possible career options include positions as health technicians, educators, coordinators, and healthcare practitioners.

Students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Health Promotion will gain foundational knowledge in health promotion program planning, implementation, and evaluation, as well as Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) competencies and learn about specific health education strategies for effectively delivering community and school health education interventions. Students will develop an understanding of various areas addressed by CHES, including: injury prevention, violence prevention, substance abuse prevention, sexual health education, emotional health education, foundations of school health education, social media and marketing in health education, nutrition. physical activity, stress for chronic disease prevention, and more.

Skills will be developed in the areas of assessing and understanding population-based approaches to effective health education and promotion. Students will learn methods for helping people make healthy behavior changes and lessen unhealthy behaviors by addressing knowledge, attitudes, skills, and beliefs in various settings.

The program also includes a Capstone applied project experience in a pre-professional setting.
